Feng House, designed by BLA Design Group in Vancouver, Canada, seamlessly blends West Coast modern architecture with traditional Chinese design elements. Completed in 2022 for a Chinese-Canadian family, this residence meets contemporary living needs while honoring cultural heritage.
Architectural Highlights

• Steep gabled roofs extend over entry terraces, serving as rain protection in Vancouver’s climate
• Exterior combines standing-seam metal cladding with natural cedar wood finishes

• Entryway features wooden latticework displaying Hangzhou-inspired topography sculptures
• Traditional Chinese “screen” motifs reinterpreted in partitions, coffee tables, and dining settings
