ArtThat Show: HERMÈS 2024 SPRING-SUMMER WOMEN’S COLLECTION Runway

You recognize yourself in these moments of friendship as you do in the clothes you are wearing: light, free, open, solid. They are made to protect but not to hide, to envelop but not to hinder.

Sitting in a meadow amid tall grasses. Spring is in full swing. An impromptu picnic, unhurried chatter, birdsong, a lack of constraints. A gentle breeze stirs the flowers and leaves all around. The landscape is breathing. The sun caresses and awakens your skin.

You recognize yourself in these moments of friendship as you do in the clothes you are wearing: light, free, open, solid. They are made to protect but not to hide, to envelop but not to hinder. To trace your movements like a second skin, whether you’re wandering, whirling,
or daydreaming.

They form a contour along the shoulder line and sharpen the waist. Uncovering you without exposing you, they invite the daylight to settle upon a bare shoulder, a hint of shoulder blade, a reimagined neckline. They follow your sensibilities, your inclinations, your desires.

You find joy in dialogues between fabrics and shades, between curves and colours. In daring, unexpected pairings that challenge codes and appearances. A tilting equestrian pea coat over a ribbed silk knit miniskirt.

A rouge H cashmere and silk coat draped over a bodysuit rooted in sport. A cotton canvas dress embroidered with the Sacre de l’été motif.

An apron-style flowing jacket and washed silk twill trousers or a wraparound skirt with trouser accents and a short-sleeve bolero-style gilet in blue-black that reframe the suit.

An overshirt and a pair of shorts in Tattersall patterned crisp cotton. An etoupe-grey trench coat whose sleeves unbutton into flaps and sway with the body. The interplay of opposites suits you.

The wind rises and so do you. The rustle of your skirt echoes the murmur of the leaves.

Birkin bag and Arçon bag, Panier d’été and Pochette d’été bags, Chaîne d’ancre Punk cuff bracelet.

All plants used for decor in the fashion show will be replanted in an act of circularity and respect for nature.
