Recap 2020: Find ‘Equilibrium’ In The Printed Silk Installation Like A Silkworm

Just not long ago, Morin had his fourth solo exhibition - the printed silk installations ‘Equilibrium’ at the Last Resort Gallery in Copenhagen.

Like the silkworm and the pearl oyster, French artist Morin works diligently to create the beautiful and luxurious. Just not long ago, Morin had his fourth solo exhibition – the printed silk installations ‘Equilibrium’ at the Last Resort Gallery in Copenhagen.

Justin Morin’s printed silk installations take many forms — some unfurl dramatically against an expansive gallery wall; others are cinched and pleated like couture; still others are knotted, tied, looped, bunched, gathered, or, simply hang listlessly like a flag.

He has also exhibited at Galerie Derouillon (Paris), Capital Gallery (San Francisco), Galerie Jean Rochdard (Paris and Brussels), Villa Noailles (Hyères) and has created large scale projects for Études, Louis Vuitton and Rimowa etc. Morin is the Editor in chief of the acclaimed Revue Magazine as well as a Professor at Parson School in Paris.

At the end of this year, we also try to review the efforts and attempts made in the life paradigm, and if it weren’t for the epidemic, could we have a more thoughtful lifestyle and use natural and simple wisdom?
